The white birds had to take refuge inside chimneys for three days because of the great cold.The soot inside the chimneys made them all black.
From that time forward merla birds have been blackbirds!
So every year, according to tradition, if these days are cold, spring will arrive promptly and be beautiful, and if they are warm, spring will arrive late.
